Also, speaking of being in the dark, being from the Hudson Valley, I was so blown away by how amazing the AZ night sky was. Even from right down town…Flag being the country’s first dark sky city. Like the fact you could see the Milky Way from right downtown. Crazy. But then working on a farm in Mendocino took dark sky to a whole nother level. Absolutely outlandish.

That's really interesting what you're relating about radio. When I was younger and flew from the east coast to colorado i would listen to radio on my walkman in the plane. Without a doubt. This is how I found FMU growing up in Newburgh. Same with VKR and sometimes WNYU. Also found dope stations while living in Aurora, IL. We also used to take little shortwave receivers on hikes and camping trips in the Gunks and Catskills Adirondacks and whatnot. To try to pick up international signals. Or alien communications. Lol

I feel the only way to snap the masses out of it would be the elimination of social media. Separation of media and state. I don’t know. There’s a high cost to be paid for all that’s gotten the people here…the first crusade on the “holy land” has yet to be answered for. Lest we forget.

But there is an element of truth. A written record can be edited and taken out of context. The original “poster” of the spoken word carries the context and passes it on. But hey! We ate the fruit. Right?
