Musical theater from off the beaten path. Obscure and unusual show tunes from within the canon and without, flops, failures, and the newest works from up-and-coming artists—plus tried-and-true hits. Also, occasional appearances from songs that are not show tunes (but only if they go really well with show tunes).

Hi, Bronwyn. I like the show opener. Whatever kind of music you plan to play, I'll be listening. At least until about 9 PM or so.

It was a great first set, Bronwyn. I quite like this deep folk Americana Appalachian music.

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I hope it's not the flu; maybe just a cold. You sound pretty chipper and energetic for someone with the flu. The last time I had the flu I could hardly get out of bed.

If I remember my American history, West Va. was originally part of Va. Basically, when Va. seceded from the Union to join the Confederacy, WV seceded from Va. and became a state of the US. The only time that's happened in US history.

Regarding feeling out of sorts, I went to the doctor last Thursday because I thought I had something, maybe even covid. The doc said that my reaction to seasonal allergies is just more than I've experienced before. I don't remember ever attributing sore throat to allergies before.

Bronwyn, is that photo of your family? I'm wondering what the context would have been for several of the menfolk to be displaying their guns. Along with what seems to be two adult women and lots of kids.
