there was the "Total Liberation" tour, buncha vegan straight edge bands (some pretty decent!) and a number of speakers -- afterwards, a bunch of us were hanging out, and feeling incredibly "old," i asked Rod Coronado what is straight edge anyway? he explained, and how initially it was about abstaining from sex too -- until these kids got a bit older, started having sex, and decided that they really did not want to abstain from that -- i totally busted up laughing, and was like, so all these Yogis, going back hundreds of years, have been "straight edge" too, without even knowing it?!?
