I would love to hear about the packaging of telephone free landslide victory. In my opinion it is one of the most interesting physical records from a letterpress / screen printing perspective and has a lot of fun inserts. A trend the band followed for their other releases as well. I think one of them was totally perforated like a book of stamps that you could peel off. Cool stuff

Loving hearing all these old CVB songs. Can't quite figure out why I stopped listening to them. I have practically every record. At one point I was so obsessed w/ them I even bought the solo records from other CVB members like Jonathan Segal. I still have that double record "Storytelling" somewhere--which I remember really liking.

I think if you look at that amount of good bands actually touring, I stand by my comment. Lots and lots of good music these days. In my area, I check the club listings every week. Once every 6 months, there is a band I want to see. 30 years ago, I could go almost every night.
