Not much was my issue. He was standing with a game console controller really static. No issue with that (I'm small so I don't care about seeing what's going on). My problem was that it sounded like he was switching through a planned sequence of sounds which made a little too much sense, so it became predictable

Praise for Chicago

“In this gorgeous novel, the protagonist is the setting. Although it’s full of interesting characters and surprising events, and the narrative is spun with great skill, the true spell it casts on the reader is the spell of atmosphere, its portrait of a time and place so complete that this becomes reading experience that feels like a life experience—the details are that vivid, and the immersion that complete. Chicago is memorable, original, and full of passionate exploration.”

Hey Spikey along Thames!

RIP David. The P.U. combo was /way ahead/ of most other combos.

I only saw David Thomas twice. With Pere Ubu he was angry and blasted the opening band (rightfully, they played far too long, as friends of the venue). With Pale Boys he was sweet and had crew help him to sit on the edge of the stage to chat and sign stuff

I think he was a nice guy (people I know who worked on shows all agreed). But with no patience for entitlement, and a showman who knew Pere Ubu fans expected some anger

Creamo played Chime Oblivion song yesterday. Was it this one? It's good.

And it's not Chime School (whom I like also).

Is there going to be a new bunch of bands with Chime in their names, like so the SugarX and SuperX bands in the nineties? Closing time
