A 60+ foot pine tree came down two weekends ago taking all utilities with it for about 20 hours. That's just nearby. Outages from fallen trees widespread. Thousands without power. Waiting for the next one to drop. Strawberry farmers need the sun for their crop to ripen.

People take drugs for recreation because the society that makes the drugs convinces them that it's better than tackling the real problems inherent in a society that works so hard to market drugs instead of working hard to, say, feed the starving masses, or to ensure they can get a crack at an education, so that they have a modicum of hope. But nope. they take drugs because they're born into hell.
