That's hysterical....by that time Guest & co. were known (it was more than a decade after Spinal Tap) so I wonder what they expected. Some people are just clueless, or lazy...& don't bother to actually READ about a movie before they see it. That said, I saw Spinal Tap the weekend if opened (I already knew what it was) & some co. was handing out questionaires as we were leaving, asking how we heard about the movie, did we like it, etc. They probably didn't know how to market it (I remember a story that they showed it, blind, to a test audience whose reaction was "why didn't you make a movie about a GOOD band?").

I first heard of Keltner (as I'm sure many here did) from the liner notes of my Lennon, Harrison & Starr albums...but he's played with everyone from Streisand to Pink Floyd. He'd be a a great guest, don't know if I ever heard him interviewed. Saw him on tour w/both George & Ringo, & about 20 years ago I went to a Simon & Garfunkel reunion show & was surprised to see him on drums for that too.
