Join Eric in the Guest Room while he spins his usual mix of elegantly controlled chaos: ambient, soul, jazz, old film scores, psych, 70s reggae, 90s hip hop, new wave deep cuts, indie fuzz and New York scuzz. There will be synths, there will be feedback, and there will probably be New Order. Or Jackie Mittoo. Or both. All rhythm, no algorithms.

i Love it too! -i had a '69 164, and a '73 (which had an ugly straight-across bumper)
...i always fantasized about modifying the '69 - fairly subtly...chop the roof ~2"; lengthen the front ~6-7"; put very slight, long fins on it (i had the car picked out but now don't remember) - and citröen rear directionals on the roof! drop the whole thing down, but not quite "low rider".

i was with someone 1990-91 had a beamer, i think the smallest model -probably an '89. 6 cylinders, 2 batteries the size of truck batteries. when that car was in working order - maybe 80% of the time, it was a beast, in the best sense!
...but then, even if it seemed okay that day, in the middle of the night the theft alarms would engage for no reason. over and over ... it was at the dealer repair shop so often they did not ever charge her. (because they SHOULD HAVE given her a new car.)

The one I loved most was the TSi, but the best one I had was the 300zx that just died

This is probably my favourite Replacements cover even though I like Joan Jet's cover of "Androgynous".
