I've been to Tasmania, and it's just about my favourite place on earth. West Coast forest was absolutely amazing. Horrifying historical novel about transportation called 'For the Term of His Natural Life' set there.

i was looking up Ionel Talpazan just to be saddened by the assholes in this world (like his parents and foster parents, and the government he escaped from, and the one he escaped to...) - and frustrated by the stupidity and arrogance of people, in this case the "art community" ...to use asinine phrases like "outsider art" and for wikipedia to have to mention that he was "self-taught"...as if any true artist needs art school.
