But wanted to ask first: do you find the quality of the D:O Radio stream/sound to be ok, or at least of a piece with other shows on the stream? (Not talking musical selections here, but simply the quality of the sound arriving at your end.) I am a little reluctant to mess around with things I don't fully understand, but am open to it if improvements could be made.

Transient noise and signal distortion can be lessened in this way. I was trying to build something like this, but it's alchemy. That box also has its own gain pot...

But wanted to ask first: do you find the quality of the D:O Radio stream/sound to be ok, or at least of a piece with other shows on the stream? (Not talking musical selections here, but simply the quality of the sound arriving at your end.) I am a little reluctant to mess around with things I don't fully understand, but am open to it if improvements could be made.
