There are some classial labels that are sought after by audiophiles (RCA Living Stereo "Shady Dogs", Mercury Living Stereo (releases from the early 60s mostly), and I came into.a lot of them in a short time, so I filed by label/catalog #. RCA LSC-2271, anyone?

Then there was a Phonolog catalogue [ en.wikipedia.org... ] and many copies of the Schwann catalogues [ en.wikipedia.org... ] available for customer browsing or clerk assisted finding. I may still have a Schwann or two but think I finally dumped my personal Phonolog. It hadn't been updated since 1977
