	🦍 ♥ 5:00am (mta) Tony: @Spikey (and whomever else may be interested): So I arrived at the station @noon to commiserate with Ken, prepared with a list of topics I wished to discuss with him. The conversation quickly turned to address his revelation of the recent death of WFMU's creator Vin Scelsa's wife, Winifred, and Vin's own declining health. I love Vin Scelsa and fmu so much, I'm brought to tears. You don't know me personally, but 30 minutes with me flies in a snap of your fingers, so before we got to speak about ANYTHING I wanted to discuss, it became "lunchtime" where we broke to the lunchroom with a bunch of volunteers, not the time to continue my conversation with Ken. The next thing I knew, lunchtime was over and Ken abandoned me at the table, leaving me in the hands of Joe McGasko who was busy with the volunteers. I brought almost $100 worth of fresh Zabar's almond croissants (best in the world) to augment my intended conversations with the staff, but before I knew it, my ass was back on the train home. I accomplished absolutely nothing I hoped to address. I took 3 croissants home for my Pola.

I've been listening to fmu for 58 freakin' years, and I barely got to say anything of significance to anyone before I was shuffled out the door, albeit, very cordially, of course. Very friendly, but like Matty said, very busy but I already knew that and offered to assist but my time was up (lol).

England was always my favorite place to visit because the people always treated us so kindly and with so much humor. We stayed at the Cumberland by Hyde Park though I have no idea if the hotel even still exists but the people are marvelous. Your daughter will never forget!

The next thing I knew, lunchtime was over and Ken abandoned me at the table, leaving me in the hands of Joe McGasko who was busy with the volunteers. I brought almost $100 worth of fresh Zabar's almond croissants (best in the world) to augment my intended conversations with the staff, but before I knew it, my ass was back on the train home. I accomplished absolutely nothing I hoped to address. I took 3 croissants home for my Pola.

England was always my favorite place to visit because the people always treated us so kindly and with so much humor. We stayed at the Cumberland by Hyde Park though I have no idea if the hotel even still exists but the people are marvelous. Your daughter will never forget!
