but around the same time i was getting into reggae, and crazy eddie's had as inadequate a reggae section as most stores in nj and nyc. one place, "alwilk's" in elizabeth nj had a decent selection, but they were all 8-9 bucks! in 1983(about). i made a rule - no more than 8 bucks. i stuck to it, mostly -and still accumulated >4000 lps... which i'm now selling.
