Hi Jeremiah! It's quiet on the board here. But then I am not aften awake for the beginning of the show either. Yesterday must have been one of the weirdest 4ths of July ever.

Great track. Weird fourth.

Yeah not a great 4th. Hence the Boscoe tracks. It might be quiet because the webpage is down?

Can anyone who is lurking just sound off? Say a quick hello? I'm not entirely clear on what is happening with the website and if people can find their way here.

I saw them once, in 2010, a show with David Murray opening, and The Roots after them. They all joined forces at the end, which was pretty awesome
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:20am
Gnomon (Knight of Petrichor):

↳ Jeremiah @4:14
I really doubt this is the case, but maybe check your gain vs line level on the mic and make sure they're about at their usual. It could be that your gain is way higher and your level is way lower than usual, but I really don't think that's it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:20am

re: last poets… remember seeing ari berman of mother jones on dem now talking about our current “leader” and how he is representing closely the constitution….he IS acting on what the constitution is about.. written by and for the wealthy landed gentry
doing some admitted remedial reading about black history which puts the pieces together (for me) of capital and race oppression in this country and how its mechanisms “baked in” to the system. this reading is overlapping the current moment in an undeniable way… like watching a color separated image come together to form a picture which was always there but not quite visible in its totality before

I first heard Boredoms during the breaks at a Sonic Youth show late 1992, shortly before I was leaving for Japan for a year. The music was so wild that I had to go to the sound guy and ask who it was. The next year in Japan I got to see them and Sonic Youth live, with Eye joining SY at the end for some serious chaos. I saw Eye with Naked City at their last show at the original Knitting Factory way back when. That was wild. Thurston was there but not performing.
