Each week Ed Shepp and his guests explore a theme plucked randomly from the perfume cloud over Macy's. May include (but is not limited to) talking, music, turkey sounds and eargasmic eclectitude.

Ed Shepp | Pizza | Bling | 2002 | This piece was inspired by my experience at Cici's Pizza restaurants in Tallahassee and Atlanta. Their food was pretty mediocre, I guess, but I loved it. The unique thing about the restaurants, especially the one in Atlanta (in a dumpy neighborhood), was that you'd walk in and notice that virtually everyone there was fat. Humongously fat, even by average American standards. And you'd see whole families where everyone was obese. I think I was the only thin person there when I went. | ||||||
