hostage instructions | (5 of a set of 7) | Set of hand-written instructions given to Brian Wells on August 28th, 2003 in Erie, PA. Wells was accosted by several unidentified individuals, who attached a locked metal device to his neck with a bomb, and was instructed to follow a scavenger hunt leading to several sets of instructions, and a series of bomb deactivation keys, placed around town, explaining how to rob a specific bank and dispose of the money. If Wells didn't follow the instructions within a specified time frame, or got the law involved, the device would detonate. Wells did not survive. Read more about this case here. | ||||||||
