Listener comments!

  11:49pm Morley Sparrow:

How do you get such good reproduction with the records and cylinders? I just like the good music.
  4:09pm Steven G. Levine:

According to Archeophone, "The Rainbow Division March" was written to honor the menage of National Guard units cobbled together by then Col. Douglas MacArthur in order to get semi-prepared troops to the battlefields of France a little more quickly.
  9:33pm Jolynn:

I was looking on-line for march music @ 1900-1920 for an upcoming program that my fiancé and I will be doing on July 3rd this year. We are volunteer demonstrators who take part of our antique phonograph collection out to the public for local fundraisers for non-profit organizations. This one will be very unique for it will be at the Pritchard House in Titusville, FL. The home was built in the late 1890s and is being completely renovated. We were asked by the North Brevard Heritage Foundation to participate since this is a fundraiser for the home. The program will be from 5pm to 9 pm open to the public. Prior to the event, my fiancé and I are getting married which is a first for this historic and lovely home. Looking at your sight, it has some beautiful music of the era and very patriotic. The sound quality is excellent and glad that you have this available for people browsing on the net.
