Listener comments!

  8:34pm billyjam:

what up Mike?....where;s the Joe Walsh block?
  8:44pm lupica:

Oy Billy! Good to hear from ya, mate. I'm saving all the Joe Walsh MP3s up for the apex of the show. You know, gotta hit 'em hard at the end, right?
  8:58pm disastrogirl:

Yay Mike! I love your show!
  9:09pm jp:

oh! i'm still listening! well i wasn't lliiistening, but i'm still here!
  9:12pm Parq:

Oh man, that was Cat Stevens. What a relief! While it was playing, I was afraid it was the Barenaked Ladies.
  9:17pm lupica:

Thanks, Disastrogirl!
  9:23pm Jim:

Brother JT AND Big Blood are "Lupica discoveries" for me. Way to go Mike.
  9:28pm lupica:

Wow, that's awesome, thanks Jim! I can think of no finer examples of things that I love which I want everyone else to love, too!
  9:35pm michael:

Hi Mike -- the Pumice track is called "The Only Doosh Worth Giving," I believe.
  9:38pm lupica:

Sounds good to me... Thanks!
  10:42pm Listener John from Toronto:

As far as the Mark Stewart album I bought that one "As The Veneer....." when it came out all those years ago and my copy was credited as "Mark Stewart and the Mafia" but maybe later reissues and pressings omitted this for some reason. Anyway very glad you chose that track.
  2:05am Regressing without the aid:

Wow! Regressive aid on the radio. It seems like just a short millenium ago that I saw them at City Gardens warming up the audience for the Gang of 4.
  8:24pm Kenzo:

Lullatone! Y'all may have just missed them in Williamsburg during their rare US tour.

Here are a couple of Ken's Last Ever Radio Extravaganzas where I remixed them live:

"Swirled Freely" (1/4/2005)
(Field recordings and musical electronics.)
* Lullatone layers are noticeable starting one minute into the show.
http://counterfolk.com/ken/extrav/audio/050104.shtml

"Morally Ambiguous Hypnosis" (6/22/2004)
(The past does not equal the future.)
* One Lullatone song is remixed underneath almost the entire chattery show.
http://counterfolk.com/ken/extrav/audio/040622.shtml

Sir Lullatone had this to say about those:
"I just recently had a chance to chek out your mix. It is very very different than anyother thing I have ever heard before. Congratulations on making some orginal work."
