Wonderful show Debbie. I always like when you fill in as dj. You played one of my all time favorites Elvin Bishop "Fooled around and fell in love", thank you.

Morris Zollar:
Last week I found myself singing a song I hadn't heard in decades: "Third rate romance, low rent rendezvous". I loved that song when I heard it on the radio when I was in my early teens. I sang it a bunch, imagining the harmonies and trying to bring back the lyrics. i couldn't remember the name of the band. I really really wanted to hear it again.
A few days later, I heard the song on WFMU. The random fmu serendipity god smiled on me. Then Freddy Fender, Wasted Days and Wasted Nights a few minutes later, just like in 1975 . Thank you Amazing Rhythm Aces, thank you Donna! Big thanx to WFMU for the archives. Great set!

Hi DD. I finally heard your tracks. Mellow Gold is where its at. Starbuck and Player can not be missed. Keep it going. Where is that wall that says "Everythings Fresh"?
4:18pm
Debbie D:
Thanks, Scott. That wall is outside a BBQ joint on the way to Emerald Isle in North Carolina! You should check it out the next time you're down there. They make their own pork skins...
