Best thing about the holidays? Besides using my grandmother's tree ornaments? Why, FMU Christmas shows, of course! Tomorrow is Shelley, Rex and Terre, one after another. Magic. Even Bro Bill started off todya with a Christas ditty!
  3:26pm Parq:

Yeah, Sean, me too. After years of deprivation, I got inernet access -- just in time for the playlist comment function.

Best thing about 2007: losing my virginity. One good thing about the holidays: lobster for dinner. Someday hopefully I will mix lobster, butter, music, marijuana, & sex by having sex with a lobster and a tub of breakstones at 4:20 w/ billy jam & bryce archives on in the background for mood.

  4:55pm north guinea hills:

(discovered wfmu in 1998 when i was wee floridian)
  5:16pm Jessica:

Mm, a nice house-y homecoming. Totally worth speeding for.
  5:16pm XmasXcent:

ha hah hoo hoo....hee hee.....F M U UUUUUUUUUU
  5:21pm Ike:

The best thing about 2007 for me was travelling to Laos and discovering how awesome that country is. Mmmm, Laotian food kicks arse. Plus, unlike Thailand, no monkeys stealing my fuckin' fruit.
  5:21pm Jessica:

The best thing that happened in '07 was my discovery of a surgeon brave and crafty enough to pull an errant bone fragment out of my right hand. And to put my hand back together the way it was before the bone fragment got there. He even sewed my kind-of-ornate-gauntlet-tattoo back together all perfect like, which I was not expecting. I am blessed.
Best thing about the holidays: the gatherings are a good excuse for buying armagnac.
  5:22pm Jessica:

Ike - thanks for the new "superlative" macro: "no monkeys stealing my fuckin' fruit."
  5:25pm Ike:

You're welcome Jessica. You can see a thieving-monkey pic which I e-mailed to Billy Jam -- he posted it in a playlist a few months ago: http://wfmu.org/playlists/shows/24498
  5:32pm Tom:

yo this is a dope ass mix...big ups from Detroit
  5:33pm Monkeys in Thailand:

we were led to believe that the breakfast was for the taking and resent that we are associated with a certain criminal element within the monkey community
  5:42pm DJ M-TRAXXX:

Thanks Tom from Detroit") I remember rockin tha Shelter in Detroit back in 1998' great city!!! 1luv,

  5:49pm Sean Daily:

No place I'd rather spend the Solstice than with Billy Jam... doin' my pagan dance to hiphop, dub and acid... yeeeeeeeah...
  5:58pm Discodaddy:

Nice one M-Traxxx ;)
  5:59pm DJ M-TRAXXX:

  1:46pm Johnny Doobs:

This show has earned you a slice of my ma's plum-pudding. Which is not a metaphor for something rude, she really does make the best Christmas pudding. Props-arama.

Best moment of 2007 - when I finally figured out that John Cage is as much hiphop as Run DMC. Music starting making a lot more sense to me after that. Edan live in Dublin comes a close second though.
