And I've been dying to ask you to play some Peter Walker, but that would probably be redundant at this point. Maybe next week? And how about having Peter back on your show sometime...? Thanks Irene.
  3:35pm
Irene:

I might be persuaded to play something by Peter later. If I don't get to it, certainly next week.

  4:32pm
Irene:

Archmo-- Lacrymosa is Caitlin Pasko, a student at NYU's music school and she is currently unsigned. I do know she's doing a set this Wednesday night at the Sidewalk Cafe. Her myspace page is http://www.myspace.com/lacrymosa

RagnarR in SF Bay:

Irene - Great show as usual. What's this drony/bell toned music you're playing behind your mic breaks? Thanks.
  5:17pm
Irene:

Ah, the drone is the Boudhanath Bell in Tibet. David Hykes, who was on a couple of weeks ago, recorded it and looped it. He gave me a copy to play on air. It's an amazing tone!
  5:30pm
RagnarR in SF Bay:

Thanks a lot. I just saw that my station (KZSU, Stanford) has 4 David Hykes CDs. Was he also the person who talked to about "healing music" and its perception?
  5:35pm
Irene:

That's David. Lovely stuff!

joe:
