Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

It's so damned humbling and even embarrassing to me now ... to realize the size of Johnny Brandon's fame in London in the 50's. Since interviewing him (and having basically no idea who he was) I have since found out that he had tons of hits, wrote for great artists, and was called "The King of Zing" and "The Sinatra Of London." I must sound so flippant and trite in this interview. All respects to Mr. Brandon. It was my honor to interview you, sir.

Connolly passed away due to liver failure and recurrent heart attacks, connected to his chronic alcoholism, in 1997, at theb age of 51.

Danielle Says Your Vote Counts!
Thanks for listening to the show. It's May. I can't believe it. The days pass so quickly. This weeks show was obviously political in nature. I'm not sure when I began to inject so much politics into the show. Too much, some have suggested. So ... this week I decided just to O.D. on it.

Then I met Johnny Brandon! I could have easily devoted a whole show to him. I decided to throw him in the mix as well.

It's been quiet around here. Low e-mail count ... no D-SAM action. Might be time to shake things up, or not. Perhaps I'll just hit the street again and meet some folks and commit 'em to tape. Edit the hell out of it and stick some dance music on there and call it done. Who knows. We follow Mr. Whimsy on his horse of gold.

Should you wish to write:

In the event that you'd like to try the D-SAM

Have a good week. Until next time ... always remember.
