Listener comments!

jonathan:

is kenny g a real person? tell me.
  3:13pm
north guinea hills:

it's an eternal mystery that only a goldstein could ever tell you......
  3:15pm
Bren:

kenny G's for real. We arm-wrestled in a cafe about four years ago, maybe five. Pretty decent guy.
  3:16pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

I think Kenny's a sweetheart, but don't let that prevent you from listening to his show.
  3:18pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

I love your show, Doron. This is the first time I've heard you on the air. It's helping set a good mood for writing. Much needed!
  3:20pm
Ike:

Nachum Segal would probably say that Kenny G. is all TOO real.

He's nice in person as long as you don't mind six-foot-long plastic wangs:

jonathan:

thanks. i recall that now.
  3:42pm
Mike Fun:

Wow, great show so far. Thanks for bringing the analog africa blog to my attention. That Orchestre Poly-Ritmo track was insane!
  3:53pm
Warren M.:

I stumbled onto this radio station, never really heard stuff like this before, definitely very chill. And I don't know who that Jones and whoever duo was the other day but it might've been some of the funniest stuff I've ever heard.
  3:56pm
Jonathan Steinke:

Best fill-in I've ever heard.
  4:11pm
north guinea hills:

yeah, b/c wfmu fill-ins usually suck... (i kiid! i queed!)
  4:14pm
Parq:

NGH, I knew you were keeding, but it took me a full minute to figure out what b/c meant. D'oh!
  4:29pm
jonathan:

good, strange music.
  4:30pm
north guinea hills:

Parq, b/c is old franklinian shorthand...., benjamin has saved me on texting on many occasions.. unfortunately he hasn't handed me any of his homonyms to me.....
  4:34pm
Swami:

All ovah the mapp!
  4:43pm
doron:

yeah...a bit more over the map than originally anticipated. sometimes thats just how it goes...
  4:47pm
Swami:

Not a complaint by any means Doron! Quite enjoyable.
  4:56pm
north guinea hills:

the kubisch/plessi was nice
  5:01pm
R. P.:

So is this the long-awaited NWW hip-hop album?
  5:07pm
north guinea hills:

i think the stapleton hiphop album is done, but it hasn't been released. i think all of the emcee's are female, but i haven't heard which emcee's they are.
  5:11pm
Ike:

NGH, you misspelled "emcees". (Yes, I'm weirdly obsessive about apostrophes.)

Great show!
  5:19pm
north guinea hills:

ah...you 100% correct, Ike, as i usually spell emcee "mc", and as an abbreviation it would have required an apostrophe, but for some reason i spelled it out completely while trying to plot this map. it can be a problem when one has a modular brain..... now if i can do something about my ridiculously hard to read-run on sentences.
  5:40pm
ted:

totally digging the sanders!
  5:44pm
Ike:

Actually, NGH, many style guides would argue (and I would vociferously agree) that for the plural of MC, you should write "MC"s (with quotation marks) or MCs rather than MC's.

I think a few FMU DJs are copyeditors -- I wonder what they think.
  5:52pm
Sean Daily:

I think I will have another beer, Ike. Ahhhh, refreshing...
