Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Another show comes to an end. Are they starting to suck? have they been sucking for some time? I know that I have dropped the ball to an extent and that pure laziness has reared its head and injected itself into the proceedings. I keep telling myself, "this week I will get back out there and do a full-on, interview-heavy show," and then, I end up putting in all the filler material and lame "live" stuff, no offense to Therese, who has been nothing short of marvelous.

Don't even listen to next weeks show. It is abyssmal and goes beyond simple ball-dropping.

I don't know. Maybe I am in a slump. Maybe I'll have to sit out a season and see if I can't rally in some way. Take up a new hobby. Kite making or fish or something. Aquarium design with all the coloured rocks and sunken plastic ships and such. It might relax me. I'm all wound up.

I hope you have a tremendous week. I am so glad you listen. I certainly don't hear much from you anymore. Just a trickle of unenthused e-mails from an ever-dwindling cadre of Dusty faithful. Won't you e-mail? Out of mercy if nothing else?

Hey! I'm activating the D-SAM in an attempt to re-vitalize interest and give you another avenue of expression and communication. Call and leave me a message I can play on the show. Think of something. Read a poem. Sing. Play a blistering lead on the guitar. Make your pomeranian go into a barking frenzy. Break an expensive vase against the wall. Anything. Call NOW!
