Listener comments!

  10:08am
DeemerDave:

I Giant show? How appropriate, although I prefer a Patriotic show.

Good morning from Nashua, NH!
  10:12am
spazz:

R.I.P. Earl Palmer
  10:13am
david:

This has all the makings of one fine show!
  10:20am
Hatch:

For some reason I'm not at all surprised that Todd Rundgren is a jerk.
  10:22am
SmokinJ:

World's full of em' Hatch...
  10:29am
Parq:

True that, J. If we never listened to number one hits that are made by lousy excuses for human beings, we'd have to spend most of our time listening to the news.
  10:32am
SmokinJ:

From my experiences there are a lot more artists that are truly cool people though..
  10:36am
david:

And they all know who we should vote for.
  10:39am
SmokinJ:

That needs no explanation..
  10:41am
Dominick:

Baby Come Back!
Noah, this did get airplay in NYC back in the day
  10:42am
david:

This IS a #1 hit. A great 2cd compilation is out there on these guys!
  10:42am
Noah:

Thanks Michael!
  10:58am
david:

Killer stuff! What label is the 2cd compilation on?
  11:29am
Paul:

Any of you computer-savvy people know how to save these shows as mp3's?
  11:40am
Paul:

Never mind. I figured it out.
  11:43am
Paul:

Check that. Apparently, the podcast only contains the interview portion. I'm trying to get the whole show. Anyone?
  12:02pm
Tim:

I just saw Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby here in San Francisco, don't miss the show! But this song is the worst one on the album, which I am glad Eric insisted i buy off him before leaving.
Love the show though.
  12:07pm
Sam I Am:

Hey Tim:
I liked that song!
  12:09pm
SmokinJ:

Nice job Tim!
  12:14pm
?:

The sentiment is spot on, but there are some great songs on the album, with some great lyrics. "all you young dudes... your so vain... spreading the news... what's my name?" words for the pitchfork writer who does not know who wreckless eric is, let alone the fact that in the stiff records heyday it could have been ian dury, elvis costello, OR wreckless eric who could have made it big out of that stable!
  12:15pm
Tim:

sorry, that was my comment above, forgot my own name!
  12:26pm
Parq:

Paul, you still here? Email Ken; he has canned instructions that will tell you all you need to know.
  12:28pm
Parq:

And Tim, I recently read a blog post from someone who regarded Eric as an unknown who came to public attention for the first time in the movie "Stranger than Fiction". Arrrghh!
  12:47pm
SheaSheaWanton:

SHelley, i think you've lost your goddamn mind. To even pose the question, "Do these guys have any good songs?" about Pink Floyd might be the most ignorant thing i've ever heard on the radio... and i've worked for a guy who listened to Rush Limbaugh.
  12:50pm
Paul:

I'm back. Parq, who is Ken?
  12:51pm
Dave the ex-Viking:

"Careful with that Axe, Eugene" is a good song by Pink Floyd.
  12:51pm
Paul:

Michael....try Arnold Layne, Free For and Time for starters.
  12:53pm
Jim Duffy:

Hi, Michael, Jim Duffy here. I'm enjoying the show. As for Pink Floyd, do yourself a favor and listen to two early 45s from the Syd Barrett era: "See Emily Play" and "Arnold Layne." You can find them on a collection called "Relics." Best, Jim
  12:54pm
will:

See Emily Play, Matilda Mother, Arnold Layne, Lucifer Sam, Scarecrow, The Gnome -- any of them would fit right into your show Michael!
  12:55pm
marianne:

i love this song! cant remember when I heard it last. thanks
  12:55pm
Paul:

Relics is indeed a great intro to PF.
  1:00pm
Paul:

You asked for suggestions!
  11:34pm
red:

You are correct, Mike. There are no good #1 songs by Pink Floyd. That is a scientific fact.
