  12:13pm stingy d:

  12:14pm GP:

hmmm. a trend perhaps...Til Tuesday. next?
  12:16pm Parq:

Anybody want a nut?
  12:16pm RZ:

Just when you think there is a trend, it is the end of the trend! As in life!
  12:17pm Bad Ronald:

Let's send the Uncle Tupelo song out to the random nut guy!
  12:18pm stingy d:

aw man... yo, i'm so mad right now.. all of a sudden.
  12:19pm Bad Ronald:

what now?
  12:19pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Looks like the Tuesday theme ended before getting to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
  12:20pm stingy d:

i'm gonan do all these push up and sweat out my anger! ruh!
  12:21pm ?:

Hey stingy, nobody cares
  12:22pm stingy d:

? you cared
  12:22pm Parq:

Not true. Stingy's buds among the regulars care deeply. It's just that we like nuts.
  12:24pm stingy d:

i liek nuts... not so much peanuts... in particular almonds, excessivly cashews, ok with macedamia... jury's always out on brazils... there's more
  12:27pm Bad Ronald:

  12:27pm the penguin:

Tuesday Morning by the Shane-less Pogues.
  12:28pm stingy d:

  12:28pm Bad Ronald:

Nice Lennon track Joe!
  12:29pm stingy d:

  12:29pm Hazel:

this is JL at his finest
  12:49pm randy in NC:

Is anyone else listening via the web having the audio drop out periodically? I'm listening to the 128K MP3 stream.
  12:51pm randy in NC:

Oh, I see, my AVG is running scans right now....
  12:54pm MFB:

I'm on the 20k Windows stream, no drop-outs.
  12:55pm randy in NC:

Yeah, it seems that AVG antivirus is scanning my disk right now and eating up computer cycles.
  12:58pm Bad Ronald:

FWIW - The 128k stream was dropping on me during Jason's show.
  1:02pm Bad Ronald:

What about Roofie Tuesdays?

Gimme Back My Roofies!
  1:04pm Patrick:

Joe, are you also responsible for the "Rock Block" then "Zep Set" and "Get the Led out"? ah i kinda miss the old WNEW!
  1:05pm Bad Ronald:

not to mention Rocktober!
  1:07pm randy in NC:

Yeah, the original WNEW, Zach, Allison Steele, Rosko, etc...
  1:11pm randy in NC:

I remember Rosko reading antiwar poems and breaking down and sobbing over the air. You wouldn't hear that anymore.... It's weird hearing him doing beer commercials now, but I guess ya gotta pay the bills...
  1:11pm marconi:

Terry Manning cut is awesome
  1:12pm Bad Ronald:

I betcha we can get Joe to bawl on the air...
  1:21pm rubble:

I like ten for tuesday! I hope it will be a regular feature!
It's even better than a 'work force block'!
  1:30pm bzul:

I like ten dumplings for two bucks...if I could get 'em. Distant music to my mouth. Need to take Chinese bus down for Chinese food mapped in last shift comments. Taste for Tease-day.
  1:32pm Bad Ronald:

It's almost like the Ramones attacks that Vince Skelsa used to suffer from.
  1:33pm Bad Ronald:

I guess that's where Stingy is
  1:34pm ?:

"That was the thing about Bobby - you could never tell if he knew the future or if he was unsure of the past... or even if he knew what time it was. He would always say 'Relax, it's Tuesday.' And everybody would look at him. Because he would never say it on a Tuesday. No one knew what the fuck he was talking about." - Chris Mars
  1:34pm bzul:

Send the extraction team.
  1:41pm Wm. Shakespeare:

Much ado about nut thing and work mope:
Stingy does dumpling his sorrows at lunch.
  1:41pm Swami:

Blair Buscareno?! I went to High school with that guy!
  1:49pm Bad Ronald:

you do have a word with ways Will!
  2:10pm Ken From Hyde Park:

What the? Simon and the Bar Sinisters? They played a little club in Poughkeepsie many years ago. As I recall, they were _really_ loud for the room. There were about eight people in the room with the satge and a few more at the bar. The place that's now The Mad Hatter.
  2:12pm Bad Ronald:

That's the guy from joey miserable and the worms I used to see them at nightingale back in the day...
  2:18pm Swami:

Often on the same bill with "The Supertones". Good times.
  2:19pm Bad Ronald:

Do you remember Tom from the Nightingale?
  2:19pm randy in NC:

Who was in Joey Miserable? It seem like I might have know someone in that band.
  2:22pm Bad Ronald:

Per MySpace:Simon Chardiet, Jono Manson, Jerry Dugger, Milo Z., Hollie Farris, Curtis Fields, Chuck Hancock, Mark Ettinger, Bobby Watts, Johnny D., T-Bone Lefkowitz, Joe Triola, George Darrow, Sister Don Death, Alex Lodico, Howie Wyeth, Charles Otis, George Breakfast, Ralph Carney, and others....
  2:30pm randy in NC:

I think I knew someone who knew Simon, maybe from a different band. Thanks for the research.
  2:31pm Bad Ronald:

  2:36pm randy in NC:

Back in the day....
  2:41pm Sean Daily:

Now if only ALL Christian rock were like "Born Winner"...
  2:41pm Steven from LI:

anyone know where Chandler is?
  2:42pm randy in NC:

Further research, Simon C was in the Outsets with Ivan Julian, and I knew Vinny D, the drummer.
  2:44pm Bad Ronald:

Did you know Ivan? Pre or post Voidoids?
  2:44pm Steven from LI:

Time for some Raunch Hands after hearing the Mexican riff
  2:45pm randy in NC:

No just Vinny. This was early '80's so post Voidoids.
  2:50pm Sean Daily:

Agh! Dirteh hippeh music! Seriously, you guys...
  2:59pm ?:
