I didn't know if he'd want his age given out
  11:56pm
efd:

well, it's on the bio page on marshallcrenshaw.com, so i figured it was already in the public domain. :)
  11:57pm
Michael Ackerman:

Good point--I didn't read the site page
  11:59pm
Marshall Crenshaw:

I don't mind Evan.

Thanks for playing my song!
  12:06am
Joe:

I highly recommend Tragedy, I saw them open for Electric Six on Rocks Off this summer...
at the time, I had never laughed so hard and danced so much, at the same time, in my life.
  12:12am
Laurie:

Evan! JACUZZI BOYS and Electric Bunnies are playing a show with Cheap Time this week. I will ask Jacuzzi Boys about doing a WFMU set. Apparently Cheap Time are doing a a WFMU set next month, so...

ezra:

Michael Ackerman the photographer formerly from SUNY Photo Service?
  12:15am
efd:

Hi Laurie! I thought the Jacuzzi Boys shows were happening closer to Thanksgiving...? Might be too short notice to set something up, but thanks for checking!
  12:15am
Michael Ackerman:

Sorry to disappoint you Ezra--that's my doppleganger

Wow, some rare ACTUAL urge overkill
  12:28am
jere:

  12:29am
efd:

I *did* think it was funny! (And I had a hunch it was you.)
  12:46am
jere:

Saul Goode, ha.
  12:53am
dave:

i'm going to regret saying this i just know it, but i like the BTO version of 'Tramp' better.
  1:14am
Joe:

Jeeze, I hope I'm not getting predictable...

Yeah they were -great-, Mercury is always fun, the bartenders there keep getting better looking and friendlier, which confuses me as to wether the club itself is a dive, or just faux-dive. Either way, the openers kinda stole the show for me, never heard of them, but they totally rocked my face. Be on the lookout for Jaguar Club. Unless everyone else already knows who they are and I'm just lame. Which is totally likely.
  1:18am
efd:

not predictable at all, Joe - I just happened to remember that you said you were going to see them when I played them a few weeks ago.

I think we had a CD single from Jaguar Club here, as well as a full-length; didn't really grab me at the time, but maybe I need to try it again.

oh, actually I think that was Jaguar *Love*. Never mind.
  1:24am
Joe:

You've got quite a good memory for a guy who's show is "FHO"

Personally, I forgot I had mentioned it and got freaked out for a minute when the radio started talking to me.

It's one of those nights.

And Low Red Center is not helping. It's like paranoia in musical form.
  1:27am
HotRod:

I really enjoyed the last few tracks. :)
  1:31am
efd:

hi HotRod! Glad you enjoyed them!
  2:00am
?:

Great show tonight, was all the right kinds of mellow.

Tune in to the playlist next week, because if the fates align, I'll have a special comment-section only EFD special report on the red carpet of the MTVU Woody awards!

Yeah I didn't know what they were either.
  9:11pm
John John:

Who is this Laurie from Miami? I live in Ft Lauderdale and she is always talking about the same show and venues I attend all the time. WHO ARE YOU!!!!! I would love to meet another WFMU fan that lives in the South Florida area.

Check me out on myspace.com/garagelife.

Thanks for keeping South Florida music cool

John John
