Listener comments!

Jeff M:

When I see "The X Seamen's Institute", I can't help but visualise a home full of very naughty old sailors.

are we ramping up to a rear admiral joke here, jeff m?
Bad Ronald:

Rum, sodomy and the lash!

It's Tom Waits's birthday today. For some reason, I hear him growling over this rhumba..
listening john:

i like this guy,

duly noted, sean. thanks for the heads up! and bad ronald. you are BAD BAD ronald. hey john, me too!!
Lincoln in Brooklyn:

Hi Monica! I enjoyed the Sun Ra tune and all of its instruments. Nice show so far!

hi there lady lincoln! thanks so much for your sweet comment. please thank for pops for the swell CDs!!! xo to your mom & dad. mo
Trip Jeezy:

wow... that was incredible

Great show. I am sitting at home in cold vast remote West Texas trying to write a monologue by Captain Ahab on the subject of scrimshaw. For some reason tonight's show is proving to be inspirational. Sunday nights on the station are always inspirational
Trip Jeezy:

Id never even heard of the Ravens
listener Carl:

your the center of the always lovely Sunday nights. To much goodness.
listening john:

lovely sandy
Cold Sesame Noodles:

I'v always had a warm place in my innards for Genya Raven. Leading into her with Earl Hooker was a ting o' beauty.
Bad Ronald:

I like saying "Englebert Humperdinck"!

Boing Boing sent me... xoxo

So sad, So good, thanks Monica
Bad Ronald:

It's true how a good piece of music can evoke emotions. I was listening to "Ode to Billy Joe" today and was in tears by the end of the tune!
Jeff M:

I was treated to an Engelbert Humperdinck concert at the then-new Lakeland Civic Center in Lakeland, FL by my grandmother sometime in the late '70s or early '80s. I omitted the tempting ironic quotes around "treated" in the previous sentence because I was kind of a weird kid, and didn't actually mind going.

good evening trip jeezy, david, listener carl, listening john, cold sesame noodles, BR, sean, merlinhoot~ thanks for checking in and hope you are staying comfy cozy tonight....

Who sung it first, 10cc or Miss Sharp?

good set so far. i have been trying to watch a DVD, but everytime i get up to put it on i cant change it and get pulled back in to enjoying the tunes.
Bad Ronald:

Merlinhoot - It's 10cc's song
Bad Ronald:

The Bran Flakes are making me chuckle. Great set Monica!

Bran flakes are my friends on myspace

Another awesome show.

And the Church-Flute-Orch-into-Ohioan-Native-Kin mix was brilliant.
