	12:14pm Liz B.: Ben and I talked to a bunch of kids skipping school, St. Nick the Bard scared toddlers, and we had a $5 shop-off. I still can't believe we did it!

	12:18pm Liz B.: The shop-off was very close, but I think the winner was volunteer Brian, who picked up a Jesus toast stamp.
	12:20pm Cecile: NICE! I should fly out to the next one - I am the ninja of budget shopping... Great, WFMU, you got me interested in another incredibly rare record...

	12:28pm Cecile: me and a friend always just went to the sub shop and ordered something delicious but horrible. then we looked at records.
	12:32pm jorge: is funny i used to work at a record shop when i had like 14 years old, so after finishing school i run out to the store, the guy hired me cause i was such a pain in the ass asking for records that he don´t know about haha, fun times

	12:58pm Nick the Bard: One mother just plopped her one year old on my lap, then made her older kid stand next to me and got a picture. The first kid that showed up was all excited, but her mother HATED me. They even came by again later and it was still the case. I think that kid if gonna grow up to be awesome. If theres another mall remote, I'll do it again, even if it's in the summer.

	1:10pm Cecile: nice! I was Snowball, the Prange's Department Store Christmas Dog once, for an afternoon. Loved it. But then the other Snowball got better and they didn't need me for that. sniff
	1:12pm annie: i was a clown at a summer fair one year and had a nice paint job on my face. i saw one of my students from school and went over to him to say hello. he ran away!! very funny..

Later I learned I was allergic to all that stuff, but I think it was funny that I was so adamant about it without knowing it. the singer on Religious Knives sounds like the Triffids dude or Kim Salmon
	1:15pm jorge: i was a frozen santa at a flaming lips show here in Barcelona it was hilarious, next to me were fellas from sonic youth and the boredoms jumping and dancing like maniacs.

	1:17pm annie: yeah, this track rocks.. PTP, the wood is inside and stacked and dry.. when bob is here, he likes to cut wood and burn it right away.. it's all wet and takes forever.. now i can use dry wood again.. cecile, i told the kid about it later and he was so cute, he hugged me.. it was sweet
	1:17pm cosmic: i didnt stop mate. i got met at the station and took into the farmland of sussex and a beach in kent. i got dropped back at polegate a few days after xmas and i was still in the wind of it all, if you get my meaning, so in a way i did.
	1:18pm Jorge: yeah cecile was kinda of an amazing nightmare i almost get burned with all the parafernalia, well here is not as bloody as in the states but its cold too, i also was michael jackson when i was 6 years old but thats another psychedelic trip lol

	1:24pm Nick the Bard: My brother and three other kids had to perform "Beat It" dressed like Michael Jackson in a preschool talent show. That was around '86 though, so that was before the whole creepy falling apart stuff.
	1:27pm jorge: i performed thriller with a bunch of creepy little kids backing me up, yeah jackson at 86 was a big deal, i beg to do the moonwalk on stage but my teachers said NOOO, still hate her for that
	1:27pm annie: i still question why my class voted me, a short small-framed person, to play the role of christmas yet-to-come for our school xmas play..

	1:42pm Nick the Bard: I graduated from the same preschool (base in a raquet club of all places), and I got sing "apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie", bleh. We did get it on video though, back in 1984, so everyone thought my dad was a professional camera guy taping it. Even that age I couldn't sing the song "normal" (I was ending a lot fo the lines as questions, and the kid I was singing it with was emphasising every "pie").
	1:44pm Jorge: Liz, talking about southamerican and potatoland, i think you would like to check out an LP by the new juggler sound called trouble childs, 60s psychedellic mellow pop record from a lima-potatoland band. They ended being We All together
	1:47pm still puzzled: My buddies and I discussed -- but didn't execute -- a plan to be the intermission entertainment at the high school school musical, in monk robes(?), lip-synching to a playlist that included (mid-70s)Aerosmith and Roxy Music and a couple of unrecollected others. Thank god for lost momentum in the talk and not walking the double-odd walk.

	1:17pm cosmic: i didnt stop mate. i got met at the station and took into the farmland of sussex and a beach in kent. i got dropped back at polegate a few days after xmas and i was still in the wind of it all, if you get my meaning, so in a way i did.

	1:42pm Nick the Bard: I graduated from the same preschool (base in a raquet club of all places), and I got sing "apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie", bleh. We did get it on video though, back in 1984, so everyone thought my dad was a professional camera guy taping it. Even that age I couldn't sing the song "normal" (I was ending a lot fo the lines as questions, and the kid I was singing it with was emphasising every "pie").

	1:47pm still puzzled: My buddies and I discussed -- but didn't execute -- a plan to be the intermission entertainment at the high school school musical, in monk robes(?), lip-synching to a playlist that included (mid-70s)Aerosmith and Roxy Music and a couple of unrecollected others. Thank god for lost momentum in the talk and not walking the double-odd walk.
