I have a rare political thought.
I understand why Sarah Palin thinks she got a raw deal from the media and the McCain camp, but why is she using milquetoast commie liberal language like 'victimized' to describe herself? Such a disappointment.

(Disclaimer: I am a milquetoast commie liberal myself) (well with some libertarian leanings. ) (And I am from Michigan, so I'm sure I voted for a Republican candidate or two at some time...)

Of course, people who laugh at the hand-picked GOP Barbie doll are anti-feminist "victimizers".

Zantzinger collected rent on some properties in southern Maryland through the 1970s to the 1990s. The properties were hovels, without electricity in some cases. Problem was Zantzinger was deceiving the people from whom he collected these modest rents--he did not own the properties. He was brought up on charges and fined.
He lived not far from me on a grand estate, but said to be penniless. My wife once berated him,shaming him into leaving a public place. Actually I doubt he ever experienced shame, but he left anyway.

In a bizarre coincidence, my maternal grandfather was a linguist and expert in languages who was brought in to to teach the miners (who came from all over southern African and spoke dozens of different languages) a universal language. (My grandfather was also a major prick.)

When Miriam Makeba died, I saw one of her more well-known sucessess, "The Click Song", described a few times as a novelty song. Novel to unfamiliar ears, sure, but some too-familiar shade of conceit and clueless regard in a term that put the song/language in a category with Spike Jones or Ray Stevens tracks for laffs.
