Listener comments!

  11:19am
BillyJam:

Greetings from Jersey City......Shout out to all of the imcredible peeps who participated in last week's Live From Limerick WFMU remote broadcast....which was so much fun. And those involved showed so much love for WFMU it was moving...>>>>Today's guests will include Conspiracy of Beards - the 30 member male vocal group who interpret Leonard Cohen songs. They were so popular last year that we invited them back on this WFMU show.....Other possible guests (phone ins) include Kool Keith and Dose-One - both of whom are performing in NYC tonight.>>>>>This show is dedicated to diehard WFMU UK listener DJ Spiderman who is currently nursing a broken arm after a ski accident.....Get well mang!....>>>Topics for today to contribute to the comments include the bozo who is in the news today: Question what would be the perfect caption to accompany the picture of him (c/o New York Times) at bottom of playlist in light of the latest news on this character? >>>Topic #2 was the big G20 over in the UK a "turning point" in the global recession as Obama said or merely a get together for world leaders on our (the tax payers) dime or shilling,? >>>Topic #3: Did you hear WFMU on Weds when Andy filled in for Irwin? Jesus Mary and Joseph! April fools day indeed. Man the music he played was so awful that it.....FILL IN THE BLANK.....if you were tuned in....My comment is that it was so goddam awful that last night in the supermarket the music they were playing off some cheesy lite rock station was even superior - At least I could hum along.....

Cecile:

Billy, that entire three hour period is a blank to me now.

  3:17pm
Parq:

Stepping up to option # 3: Andy's musical selection was so whitebread that I became confused and thought I was back in my old 1978 college apartment trying to ignore the music my roommates were playing while they had friends over for the afternoon. I became so disoriented that I phoned up “College Pizza” and ordered a cheese steak sub and a can of ginger ale. The kid who now lives in my old apartment, whoever his is, surely is still wondering who was the wise guy who sent him the food.
  3:20pm
Timi Dz Nutz:

  3:22pm

ahhhhhhh i believe the conspiracy of beards
  3:24pm
Ike:

Is this a rerun?! ;)
Can these guys beatbox? 8^)

Andy's musical selections made me vomit near the speakers, and the vomit was so horrified by the music that it tried to ooze out of the apartment and down the stairs to get away from it. Unable to slide through the door crack, the vomit leapt back into my body so that the nightmarishly bland and tasteless music would at least be muffled by my stomach lining and intestines.
  3:25pm
Cecile:

yes. what you said
  3:25pm
Cecile:
