anhelo:

greetings from mexico, nice show !!
  10:34pm
Danny:

In Ireland. I'm practically nocturnal, so your show fits right in line with my erratic sleep patterns. Thanks for the soundtrack to late nights in the country.
  10:37pm
texas scott:

hello,Mexico and Ireland and California.

It's really nice to know the World is sharing this music... or soundscapes,if you will.
  10:38pm
gerardo:

nice to see the playlist comments board open again :D
  10:42pm
david:

weekends w/ wfmu......ahhhhh. so nice.
  10:53pm
gerardo:

btw, bethany, have you listened to a 3-cd set called "50 años de electroacústica en Chile"?. it's a very interesting compilation, containing pieces form 1956 onwards (!)
  11:05pm
gerardo:

if you haven't heard it, please let me know ;)
  11:24pm
bethany:

Any guesses on the band playing right now?
  11:26pm
Willy Voet:

the moglass
  11:26pm
texas scott:

not a clue.
  11:27pm
gerardo:

any tiny clue, if possible?...
  11:27pm
bethany:

Nice guess, Willy....not Moglass, but I just put them on since you reminded me....!!
  11:29pm
bethany:

Your clue is that it was a bonus track on a single released in 1997. Anything else would give it away.
  11:30pm
Anulka:

Radiohead?
  11:31pm
buckingham:

hyper-tastic set tonight.
i'm geussig a radiohead side project
(may i also ask what villa-lobos piece that was?)
  11:31pm
gerardo:

this is the coolest thing about 'fmu: you end up surprised all the time!

never heard of those guys before

thanx for the clue, bethany ;)
  11:39pm
bethany:

Y'all know me too well. But I like that I can sneak some Radiohead in without too much blatancy. But since it's obvious now, be sure to check out the new Ok Computer 2CD/DVD Radiohead collectors box...
  11:40pm
texas scott:

nice bethany.

nite all.
  11:44pm
trrissh!:

This should be mandatory headphone material for all those wielding an outdoor spring hammer.

Don't you think?
  11:50pm
ttrsh:

er two of them, anyway.
  11:53pm
gerardo:

trrissh!: i'm in trance with all this

ts: nite

bethany: i've always seen radiohead as a beatle-paradigm-band, acting as a "mainstreamer" for underground/obscure/academic forms around... am i right?

(long time no hear tarwater)

excellent set tonight!
  11:54pm
Ike:

Great show!
  11:55pm
Jon:

night
  11:20pm
Richard:

Hi Bethany, love the show. BTW that's Prelude No. 1 by Villa-Lobos, not Etude No. 1.

And I agree about Radiohead-as-Beatle-paradigm. I like the crossover effect of Treefingers from Kid A.
  12:12am
Richard:

Okay, I listened further on and someone else caught the Villa-Lobos typo (why oh why do I bother posting?!? Why?)
