Happy Record Store Day! Rex, do you and Billy celebrate Record Store Day, or are you like a drunk who won't go out on New Year's Eve because it's "amateur night"?
2:01pm
Parq:
Can't speak for the pros, but I'm getting ready to head for my neighborhood fave (Other Music, if anyone's keeping score) in a short while. Hate to miss the rest of FP, but it's only once a year

I don't think there are any record stores left in Indianapolis. Missing Link closed in November and I don't know about Indy CD and Vinyl. Just goes to show how culturally deprived this place is...except, of course for Long's Bakery and The Mug 'n' Bun. Hope I'm wrong.

ken in denver:
Wow, Sun Ra on Fool's Paradise! Never thought it would happen.

Parq:
Brian, search Indiana on the RSD web site. You never know.
2:49pm
Brian:
Parq,
Thanks for the tip, but would you have the site address?
2:55pm
Parq:
www.recordstoreday.com/Venues is not responding, so I guess it's a little overloaded now. Meantime, try this.
The archived shows are going away? !...this would be CATASTROPHIC....reverse course.reverse course.

Dr. Bruce Nelson Stratton:
I noticed you played my single "Suzette" on your show last week. I (along with the rest of the Flamethrowers) recorded it in 1959 and it received play in the Detroit/Toledo area. Clix (as you may know) was a small label in Troy Michigan (Detroit area). WE did alot of hops with the big names of the day and dis-banded when the three of us went off to college. Anyhow what a treat to get airplay 50 years later. Dr. Bruce Nelson Stratton General Manager KFTX in Corpus Christi Texas. Contact me if you wish..
