brycepunk:

Yes! Night people! Oh how I have missed thee.
  2:18am
Christian:

I know your rules - "jinx personal jinx" and if they talk you punch them over and over again.

Then there is also the more juvenile "doorknob" which is when someone farts you yell "doorknob" and the person who yells door knob gets to punch them
  2:19am
Christian Morrissey:

Sorry, you punch them until they hit the doorknob - and there was always a big difference between door knobs and door handles

Who Cares:

Umm, a couple of twenty-nothings discussing what drugs were "in" during the "seventies" is "boring". Mightn't there be some music you might play? What you're doing is what my friends and I used to do (while well stoned, in private) during the "eighties".
  2:42am
c:

whatever goes on to pluto has to be fleeting since it will eventually not be referred to as part of the 70s

You guys are, like, so, like, right, like, about everything, like, that you're, like, talking about. All I'm, like, saying is that you, like, really, like, know waht you, like, LIKE, you know, like?
  2:54am
Like I'm Like Like:

Yeah, I know I mistyped the word "WHAT" in my previous entry. But, like, you know, like, it's not, like, all that bad, like, you know?

If you think that Cyndie Lauper encapsulates the "eighties" you haven't a clue what you're talking about. Taking the piss, maybe, but you'd be hard pressed, it seems, to come up with anything worth it. Like, you know? Like, that's just too easy, like,, you know?
  3:02am
Peter:

AquaNet
  3:04am
Like I'm Like Like:

Like your last caller, I was born in the "eighties" and I love, like, the "eighties". Having been delivered of my mother in '83, like your last caller, I LOVE the, like, "eighties". My favourite song was a huge hit when I was 2, like, years old.
  3:08am
Joshua K:

Did you guys talk about punk rock.. is that a fad,? depends who you ask.
  3:08am
brycepunk:

80's... Can't discuss it without bringing up the PMRC and the assault on heavy metal (and metal's quest for artistic legitimacy), the moral majority, etc.
Also the cold war and the common term "We're all gonna get nuked anyways" (and how that looming over the head of people effected their mental health, The Day After, Red Dawn and Rambo...
  3:09am
Like I'm Like Like:

Like, it's TO-tally rad that I'm, like, the only, like person, like, participating in this, like, umm, y'know, thing...

Like I'm Like Like:

Like, I satnd, like, corrected, or whatever. Others seem to be, like, also, listening to this, like, radio, like thing. The nuc-u-lar war was, like, totally hanging over our, like, heads, like, at the time, but, like, it turned out that the world was, like, okay, 'cuz nothing, like happened after all, you know?
  3:13am
Like I'm Like Like:

I mean, you know, that I STAND corrected, huh...
  3:15am
Like I'm Like Like:

It's so, like, cool, that since the nuc-u-lar war never, like, happened, that all we really have to, like, worry about, is, like, pussy.
  3:20am
Like I'm Like Like:

I bow to the caller now, who's an expert on the "mid-late-nineties".
  3:25am
Like I'm Like Like:

Dude! Aren't all the people who were, like, in the "eighties," like, DEAD? I mean, they're, like, OLD, aren't they?
  3:31am
Joshua K:

Like I'm Like Like:

Like, how does one, like, go about, like, getting a radio, like, show of one's own, you know? I think (sometimes) that I'd like a, like, radio show. Do I need, like, a resumé, or, like, what? Should I work on, like, my skills? Or, like, is it not that heavy, like? 'Cuz, I think I'd like, like, a radio show. 'Cuz i would, like, really like one. 'Kay? I could do a, like, radio show, I think. Dude! I totally could! Like, for sure, you know? But maybe it's too hard, like. I wouldn't want, like, too much of a, like, challenge, you know?

I had these Ocean Pacific hot neon pink shorts in the 90s. It was cool for guys to wear pink for a while. The parachute pants also.
  4:36am
Pieter:

what had major impact for kids in Belgium I guess was the TMNT : before that pizza was almost completely unknown here, but boomed with that !
  4:48am
Pieter:

I remember from like 94 to 97 or something was the weirdest fashion change I ever experienced. In 94 all girls were saying pink was the ugliest color ever, which they would never wear, a few years later they were all wearing tight salmon pink pants ...
  4:51am
djarnis:

im tellin ya .. all the girls in copenhagen atm are wearing salmon coloured stuff .. or "Coral" as its called.
  5:07am
Joshua K:

  5:09am
Pieter:

I remember the 90's actually here as being when you were labeled based on musical interest and clothing linked to it. with alternative, grunge and rock on one hand and house / hardcore (and the here associated "Johnny & Marina" subculture associated to it) on the other.
  5:32am
Pieter:

from what I've heard in mathematics it's said that you peak around 27, after that it's very hard to have a real genius creative idea.
  5:33am
owen:

apparently certain people are really sensitive to a particular chemical in broccolli that most people cant taste which makes it really bitter.

i spent most of the 90's listening to my parents mock my brother for not liking broccolli only to recently see them contrite and apologetic when it became apparent that it wasnt just him being picky about vegetables.
  6:55pm
Elio from Chicago:

Great show. It was fun to hear 80's fads from the perspective of East and West coast kids. When your growing up, you don't even imagine kids outside of your town. (Except the ones on TV)
