Listener comments!

  3:09pm Sara:

Woody! Woohoo!!
  3:10pm Ike:

Woody! Nice! Go Flood go!

That awesome electronic music reminded me of some sounds from 1970s/80s Dr. Who.
  3:11pm Woody:

If only it had robots. Talking robots. Cocktail robots. Whichever.
  3:13pm Cecile:

Hey, Woody ,sounds good.
  3:17pm Cecile:

Okay, now you have to play Screen Vinyl Image if you're doing the pop synth goth deal.
  3:24pm Andy:

pronounced like "zoos zine, net zine"
Cooles Song.
  3:25pm Woody:

  3:29pm Sara:

Hey Woody, any plans to sneak onto the regular schedule again? I had just become a devoted listener when you departed and have missed your show ever since.
  3:30pm north guinea hills:

afternoon, woody....
  3:39pm Woody:

Hey Sara-

Thanks for the props.... Hope to get back on the schedule if my schedule and WFMUs match up right. We'll see!
  3:42pm steve:

  3:43pm Terry:

Saw FPI so many years ago and couldn't appreciate how much they rock. Now I'm older and maybe a little wiser I guess.
  3:47pm Woody:

Oh yeah, if guy who called and requested indie rock is reading, I looked for the album and we don't have it.... sorry!
  3:55pm GP:

This is perhaps THE greatest song EVER written <sheds tear>
  3:58pm stingy d:

oh thats poet and noel rockwell poet.... they gats some fly joints
  4:00pm Ike:

Yeah that Poet track kicked some butt!
  4:00pm GP:

Stingy . you get your drum kit set up in the new place yet?
  4:01pm Woody:

... and you can d/l the track and some others (I think off the same 12") over at cocaineblunts.com
  4:02pm stingy d:

nah gotta build out the floor/ceiling above the kitchen first, and then buy the set
  4:04pm GP:

Drum loft...cool!

Thanks Woody for the link...have to try that one at home. It has a bad word in it that won't get past the firewall.
  4:05pm stingy d:

cocaineblunts is very much a nexus for wfmu listeners and hip-hop junkies
  4:10pm stingy d:

i'm actually not a fan of that song. not really a fan of the wopp in general. that reminds me of a joke...
  4:13pm Ike:

Well I thought it was killer. Actually this whole show has been killer. I really enjoyed the bubbly sounds of Orphan Fairytale in particular.
  4:13pm stingy d:

is this tide is high?
  4:14pm Woody:

I think they all are "Tide is High" :)
  4:14pm stingy d:

does that mean you don;t want to hear my joke?
  4:16pm Woody:

Ummmm.... knock knock?
  4:16pm GP:

O.K. hit us with it Stingy.

Ike, that Orphan song sounded like a soundtrack from a Tim Burton movie. That could be a good thing.
  4:19pm stingy d:

did you hear about the new guinea tire company?
well they have great new tires. a day-go left, a day-go right, a day-go wopwopwop
  4:20pm stingy d:

POPCORN... PEANUTS... secretplans, secretplans....
  4:20pm GP:

4:21pm Dum Dum Guy at the Gates of Dawn:

Did someone mention jokes?

Two nuns are riding bicycles from the convent into town. One observes to the other, "This is the first time I've come this way," and the other says, "It's the cobblestones."
4:23pm Ed Mcmahon (right behind you):

  4:23pm GP:

DDGatGoD: Good one
  4:25pm stingy d:

  4:26pm stingy d:

  4:37pm jason:

  4:38pm GP:

Don't know what is available over in Brooklyn. I have ATT DSL and it is ok for home use. Actually that statement should probably be reversed these days...I know I definitely need more bandwidth at home that I do at work since I cant watch videos, etc. at work.
  4:38pm stingy d:

omar souleyman would crush this guy with raw energy
  4:39pm true players:

is posted at differentwaters.blogspot.com
  4:44pm Woody:

4:53pm the timekeeper at the bell:

  4:54pm Woody:

yep, I'm in old Irene shift mode.... right, 5pm it is!
  4:55pm Sybil:

Hi Woody, great show!

One comment... I think the title of that Richard Bishop piece should be "Enta Omri" (You Are My Life), not "Omni"
  4:57pm Woody:

Thanks Sybil..... fixed!
  5:00pm north guinea hills:
