Jumpy:

Another good 'un!

I guess Joe L. is an Al Green wannabe even down to the arrangement, but still pretty good listenin'! :-)

Clinton:

Yay, DTSV is back in my saturday morning. "Better than Cartoons" is my personal slogan.

Peter:

"I Can't Stand It" is a nice slice of the Hodges brothers. and an interesting example of harder-edged Willie Mitchell arrangements. Sometimes it's good to hear Teenie play that rhythm style for the whole song, instead of just certain sections.

Winner of a show in many other ways, too, Mr. Finewine.

Why have you stopped REALAUDIO?

Little Esther's "Wild Child" is great - it's shown up on Downtown Soulville before, yes? How about some more Five Royales soon? As always, great show - one of the highlights of my week.

Stefan:

Such a strong set!!! But why always must be the best records simultaneous be the rarest?!? That´s sooo depressing.
  6:35pm
R. Mark Desjardins:

Hello! I see you played a very rare groove by the Tiaras, "Right On," that was released in Canada on The New Sound of Revere Music label. Do you or your listeners have any information on the group? There was another American female trio, Gigi & The Charmaines who recorded a lot of sides for various US labels, but recorded some hard to get singles on the Canadian label, Red Leaf. Any hope of playing these? Thanks for posting your great show! Cheers. Mark
