	1:03pm Doctor B.: I have seen people do what your friend's doing all the time. It doesn't seem rational because it's not. Emotions will definitely make us do things which are not in our best interests (how do you think Rush, Ann and Bill manage to get people to hang on their every word?) Your friend is obviously very vulnerable and suggestible. She's not over her old relationship, so a second chance seems very appealing, even to the point of ignoring the old relationship's very real bad points. This is a very, very common after-breakup scenario. (Been there, done that). She needs to be reminded of why her ex became her ex in the first place. Of course she will need a lot of emotional support from her friends. Bottom line is, call off the damned wedding. Now.

If you're seriously considering saying something to him though, then you should seriously consider saying something to who I feel is the right person: her. Not knowing the guy is irrelevant. You know your friend and you believe what she says happened between them previously. If you know any of her other friends well enough it might make sense to talk to them first. If you decide to talk to her, consider asking questions more than making statements. "What made you change your mind about him?" "It hasn't been that long since ___. Do you think he's truly changed?" Maybe a girls' night out is in order. Someplace where she'll get attention from other men, be reminded that he's not her only option. If she finds out you talked about this on the air, then the cat's out of the bag. You might as well have her read these comments too. It's often easier to accept advice from total strangers, maybe because they seem more objective.
