The remastered Here Come the Warm Jets sounds different from the older versions. The sound is clearer, but it loses some of the mood.

Thanks doug in, I feel the same way about the re-Zappas.
Also, My vinyl Robert Fripp "Exposure" uses completely different music and vocal tracks. Quite odd.

Reissues are tricky beasts. When Hawkwind's PXR5 went to CD, it had a totally different vocal track on High Rise from the original vinyl, which was such a shock I had to be hospitalized for hundreds of years. Or perhaps it just seemed that way.

'sayin...Warm jets is supposed to be murky and lure one into a fog..i turnedon ater it,oday...and i d want to here it,but-will it still put me in a meadow?or a cave?..or will it be a mountain top?...so,chuck, you're vinyl Exposure-as opposed to...CD reissue?

Jessie is live on sax and vox, Toby is live on drums, timbales, fish, maracas. They've got some backing stuff pre-recorded (extra drums, echoed vox/sax).
