  7:04pm
Vicki:

Ken's depressed
  7:04pm
Vicki:

it counted somewhere 15 minutes east of NY
  7:06pm
Vicki:

thought you'd like some BARBERSHOP
  7:06pm
Their ID:

They did it around 6:54; I've heard it farther from the ideal top of the hour than that on other shows sometimes. Ken asked them to redo it at the end but they were too busy spazzing. Ken can worry about it.
  7:07pm
Vicki:

Ken's gone back to his boat
  7:08pm
Danne D:

i was gonna try and call in to be the id guy - but just figured it woulda been done by the time i was on the phone given the internet lag.

Electric Coconut - very nice! :)

Excellent show so far :D
  7:08pm
pfapfap:

Hey, I did my best. My phone cut out when I was near the computer, so I didn't see him ask for it again. For the record, I was only calling in to suggest why they didn't get more callers. Jeff seduced and hypnotized me into being Coconut #2. I'm glad we're finally onto something that sounds pleasing to the ears.
  7:09pm
texas scott:

you have a very fun show, vicki.

and the plinth lives on...
  7:09pm
Laura L:

I hope Larry can help Ken get a crew for the boat.
  7:09pm
Vicki:

the plinth does live on - apparently there was someone on it on roller skates yesterday
  7:09pm
Danne D:

now for your tell all book: "Bananas: My Life as the 2nd Coconut"
  7:10pm
paul:

i hope the boat is equipped with corn weenies too
  7:12pm
texas scott:

has anyone just slept on the plinth?
  7:13pm
G:

This Supreme Evil mix is another classic.
  7:13pm
Vicki:

I don't know - most people seem to want to put up tents or an umbrella or stand there holding a carrier bag
  7:14pm
Vicki:

yes, this Supreme Evil is amazing
  7:17pm
texas scott:

HA! someone should set up a small bed, with bed table and alarm clock and have a snooze.
  7:19pm
Vicki:

I keep thinking about what I'd do on the plinth, a million ideas, and not one of them is worth shite. So Im glad to get the rejection email each month
  7:22pm
Vicki:

in case some of you don't know about the plinth, do a search fo One and Other - http://www.oneandother.co.uk/ - excellent mundane accomp to my show, I might add.
  7:24pm
sabrina lane:

hi vicki,,how are things in england? if you take requests and if you have it,,could you please play "DAISY A DAY" by spike jones jr,,,thank you vicki
  7:26pm
Danne D:

yeah I was clueless a bit, but I looked up the internets. Some guy is talking about the Help 4 Heroes fund which I can give a thumps up to.

Here's a good plinth classic news articles for folks like me not in the know:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/8233636.stm

Could we get Andy's Coconuts up on the Plinth?
  7:27pm
obvious guy:

just from listening for weeks i can tell that vicki's shows are carefully put together, and technologically can't be altered during the show.
  7:28pm
Vicki:

the plinth is rather like the National Lottery for the Arts but you don't have to have any idea in hell to get to stand up there. Just be able to hoist your body onto the crane and lay there for an hour. So actually, much like some art applications I've seen awarded, ha.
  7:28pm
Vicki:

you can never get too obvious, guy.
  7:31pm
obvious guy:

true dat. i thought it would be obvious how much production work goes into this. and thanks for it, of course!
  7:32pm
sabrina lane:

vicki,,you don't take requests?
  7:32pm
Vicki:

thankee
  7:33pm
Danne D:

I gotta request: keep up the wonderful work :)
  7:35pm
obvious guy:

you were so right about it being impossible to be too obvious. great show!
  7:35pm
Danne D:

This song makes me think Satan and the Satones would make a great band name.
  7:36pm
obvious request:

  7:46pm

  7:46pm
Vicki:

I escaped Texas in 1982 myself! As with some of this music, I don't necessarily like Texas, I do love it. And here's one reason why:
