CRUMB: What a depressing movie. I don't recommend seeing it if you're suicidal. Great otherwise.
  7:30pm
Rupture:

i **just** found out that that song was used in Crumb (right?)
  7:31pm
ryan:

i love this track!
  7:32pm
anne:

when i saw crumb, i thought it was a portrayal with actors/actresses. i thought, "where the hell did they find these actors?!" it wasn't til the credits that i realized it was a documentary. the swirls freaked me out.

anne:

solar life raft is beautiful BTW

ryan:

The video for Solar Life Raft was so cool, as is this beat! That Mizz Beats track lingers in my head when I think about it! Any plans for a longer film? Also, will the short fiction be available digitally or will it remain a rarity for those who buy the physical product?
  7:47pm
Rupture:

thnx! glad u like :) re: the short short story inside.. its best experienced in the physical (Since its so short) and in a way, Sara's video totally nailed the vibe/ambient/spirit of the thing. that said, we should scan it and put it online -- the design, by Claudia Rivas (of Lima, Peru) is v. nice and fitting
  7:49pm
ryan:

I was really impressed by how vivid the imagined future in the video was, and how in retrospect seemed to inspire the musicality of the mix as well as be inspired by the tracks in the mix. Would love to play a Solar Life Raft video game! Bioshock/DJ Hero/Ecco the Dolphin haha what else comes to mind?

ryan:
