It was going to be a gift but I'm probably gonna keep it. Check out the booklet! It's amazing.

It used STILL images with accompanying spoken dialog, the drawings changed about every 5 seconds to reflect the dialog. 	6:00am (mta) Tony: If you remember Crusader Rabbit and Beany and Cecil, and you used to get up at 5:30 A.M. on Saturday mornings, you'll surely remember the Colonel! Along with his caveman pal Scratch he acted as a cartoon intergalactic sentinel patroling the immediate universe, keeping the peace. It utilized the standard early 60's minimalist animation technique with narration to help you follow along. This is the cartoon Davey and Goliath would watch while taking time off from theorizing about the "G" man. I can remember staying up until all the t.v. stations would go off the air, the latest always being WCBS in N.Y. after the Late Late Show, and then coming back on within 30 minutes with the Star Spangled Banner, Sunrise Semester, and finally Colonel Bleep. This signaled the begining of the most holy time of the week for a 6 year old - Saturday morning cartoons! If you can relate to any part of this story, than you'll also enjoy this video.
