Listener comments!

  12:03pm Cecile:

nice! Hitting for the trifecta.
  12:04pm Bad Ronald:

Hello folks! Looking forward to today's programme.
  12:11pm Carmichael:

Get yourself some King Khan up there on the board and you'll be flying high!
  12:18pm Dan Elektro:

Dang strong lead-off line-up there, Belock. Greets from catfish country.
  12:24pm Carmichael:

Dude, you are the MAN!
  12:34pm annie:

hi all, back and badder than ever.. have this new laptop, gonna check out the speakers..
  12:36pm Joe B:

Hi everyone! Thanks for listening/writing!
  12:43pm annie:

question from the luddite.... no sound .. will the laptop use winamp?
  12:50pm efd:

speaking of foreign bands with a tendency to cancel at the last minute, I don't suppose there will be any Cato Salsa Experience in your Decade In Review programming...
  12:54pm Cecile:

Methinks it's like the Catholic League - there are six people who know the news networks' phone numbers...
  12:54pm Joe B:

No Cato Salsa! After that one, their CD went straight to the Salvation Army!
  12:54pm Cheri Pi:

Who would dare to cancel? I just tuned in...
  12:57pm Doc Labyrinth:

this is my new theme song
  12:57pm Joe B:

Let me clarify by saying cancelling sometimes happens. It's just the way it happens. Legitimate reasons like losing your voice or van breaks down. But because you decide you don';t feel like it or are too important don't cut it!
  1:02pm Cecile:

And if you bail, you should do a make-good as great as Tommy Keene's. ;D
  1:06pm Joe B:

That is right Cecile!
  1:08pm Cecile:

It was all "oh, hey, here's some old songs and some covers, and I wrote a new song, want to hear it?" I love Tommy Keene.
  1:12pm Mrs. B.:

I sure am glad I didn't cancel!
  1:13pm Cecile:

I know! We'd never hear the end of that!
  1:33pm Cecile:

Joe, what were your favorite albums by established (20 years or more in the biz) artists this decade?
  1:37pm Dennis (Blisters):

Hey Joe! Check your email... important!
  1:48pm seang:

German Farmhouse! Thanks for that
  1:54pm seang:

Paul W., you need a Real drummer
  1:57pm seang:

all right 3 comments in a row, but I live in Somerville
  2:01pm Peter from Western Mass.:

I was wondering when Myracle Brah would pop up. Thanks for playing
  2:03pm Listener Jumpy:

So good to hear Myracle Brah!
I see no reason a decade review wouldn't take 4 weeks.
  2:03pm Listener Jumpy:

And Sloan!
  2:03pm DG:

Hey there Joe - Happy Holidays! Great show.
  2:03pm Cecile:

SLOAN
  2:05pm Listener Jumpy:

Um, who did Jeff Connolly sit in with again?
  2:08pm ?:

Mono man with Purple Wizard about 3 or 4 years ago
  2:12pm dc pat:

is Jeff Connolly still alive?
  2:14pm Cecile:

he'll outlive us all, mark my words.
  2:19pm Mrs B:

That's how we met Cecile. So you probbly would never had heard the beginning of it.. let alone the end ! :)
  2:19pm Mrs B:

I meant me and Joe, not Jeff Connolly!
  2:23pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I saw Simon and the Bar Sinisters in Poughkeepsie about fifteen years ago. The place is now called The Mad Hatter and they don't have bands there anymore. The band was L-O-U-D for that little room. By the end of the set, there were only about eight people left.
  2:24pm steep steppes:

This 4000 hours sounds like a classic.
Uncomfortable and/or painful hilarity listening in 2009
  2:24pm WinstonSmith:

Wow, it is just as miserable an experience to hear that fascist bastards voice now as it was when he was in office.
  2:25pm Swami:

Used to see Simon and the Bar Sinisters and The Supertones! Fun shows!
  2:39pm dc pat:

this Repetition song rules.
  2:45pm efd:

I need to remember to take the new Fallen Leaves CD out of my CD player at home and bring it to the station tonight!
  2:46pm Glenn L:

Thanks Joe!
Huge huge spot in my heart for Mr. Airplane Man.
  3:00pm Rubble:

Another great show!
