Listener comments!

  7:02pm
Irwin:

Mellotrons, plz. Thx.
  7:03pm
Dave M.:

You are instiable!
  7:04pm
Dave M.:

Um, "insatiable."
  7:05pm
Irwin:

Thanks for clarification. Thought you meant "unstable."
  7:08pm
listener Gary:

welcome back, Dave Mandl ...in anticipation I have been playing your premiums from years back. It's been a real Dave Mandl festival today.
Best ...
  7:10pm
Dave M.:

Your neighbors are probably not amused. But thanks!
  7:35pm
Steve:

Speaking of women of great musical descent...the mighty MU library wouldn't happen to have Chic Coreas wifes recent debut release I Loved You Then... I Love You Now

http://snipurl.com/thennow
  7:37pm
Dave M.:

If it's recent...unfortunately, I don't think so. Haven't seen it here.
  7:44pm
sinister dexter:

greetings from grand rapids michigan! i love your show ! thanks Dave!
  7:50pm
Dave M.:

Thanks, Dexter,
  7:52pm
Dave M.:

Hmmm...punctuation problem.
  7:53pm
Keith:

Rock on Dave. We've missed you. Could you arrange to take the 6pm Tuesday slot for my long drive home?
  7:55pm
Dave M.:

Not sure if the Highway Safety Commission would allow that.
  7:55pm
Mattias:

Good sounds. Thanks Dave!

"Säg, är det konstigt att man längtar bort nån gång?" =translation= "Is it any wonder that you just want to get away from it all sometimes."
  7:57pm
Dave M.:

Wonderful. Thanks, Mattias.
  8:01pm
Keith:

Yeah, good answer, but it did work in the past when you and my drive coincided on a Wednesday.
  8:04pm
Keith:

No asking you to take the wheel, just the airwaves.
  8:06pm
Steve:

Dave, are we making a point of hard to follow time signitures?
  8:08pm
Dave M.:

Actually, I'd love to do a 6:00 show, but that slot is usually reserved for special shows (mostly talk shows like Seven Second Delay).
  8:09pm
Dave M.:

Steve: Not consciously--it just seems to happen.
  8:18pm
Keith:

Too bad. If the powers that be are listening, why no reconsider that overly rigid formula. Or at LEAST shorten the length of them to an hour.
  8:54pm
Ike:

Enjoying the show Dave!

Oh, and Irwin *is* unstable as well as insatiable. But I wouldn't have him any other way. He's a unique national resource, like our national parks, or the UK's NHS. Obama should appoint him Czar of Outsider Music Research.
  9:00pm
Dave M.:

Night, all. Thanks for your comments.
