I hope your red flannel undies aren't twisting up tight!
Corpse S Chris:
That was a fun song.
As afar as I can tell Apple Dowdy = Apple Crisp = molasses + nutmeg + cinnamon + flour, butter, etc.,, all mixed together & baked.
they reference it in Route 66
Killer show! Totally agree about "derivative" songs.
R.I.P. Mask Man
An R&B set, and I gotta vacuum. Doggone.....
RIP Mask Man...
Welch's wine; yes! It used to be sold in a decorator bottle, complete with an instruction booklet telling how to make it into a lamp! Really!
I can heartily testify to seein' Mr. Rhythm do his SWEETS thing! Saw him in Chicago back in November at the release party and it was a blast to end all blasts (just ask Miriam if she ain't told ya yet!!!)!!!!
Rex, your show is the ultimate soundtrack to the formerly terrible job of removing old disgusting moldy framing that has been hidden behind the walls for years and being soaked by a previously unknown leak. Now the job is magical and lovely. Thanks.
Reminds me of Peanut Duck...
Rhythm Addicts - - - The "Oomp Boomp" guys"?!
Brian in Semi-Cloudy So Cal:
When do the sparkly new year 2010 FP bumper stickers come out?!
That "I Love You" song was killer!
Brian sez HooDoo:

Bobby Charles HAS been reissued . . . . Properly ONLY on a CD chock fulla Bobby Charles classics on the boot label "BLACK TULIP" . . . :-S Too bad there's not a FP 'FMU Shoppe...?! Yardmorizing, birdmorizin'..... Sayonara suckas!
The saxaphone was the R'n'R instrument! Still trying to find out who played sax for the Applejacks!
Hoo Doo The Voo Doo. Was written by my grandfather James "Robbie" Robertson. He hired Darrell Glenn to sing it. They went down to Downey Records in L.A. County and recorded. So it is actually a Downey Records recording. You can read the fine print on the label and see this. This was the only record he ever made! with the B side of "Teardrop Falls". Buenos Noches
I enjoyed hearing Sand Flea by the Marauders. I was in the Marauders and played guitar on that record. It was a real kick to hear it after all these years. The Marauders were based in Westchester Ca. in the early 60's. Our rival neighborhood band was The Crossfires (later called The Turtles). Thanks for the smiles and memories.
