Listener comments!

  11:10am
oh yea:

did Kim Fowley ever have a No. 1 song?
  11:11am
Dave:

Number One!!!!
  11:11am
sammy:

You just heard one!
  11:12am
oh yea:

I mean a real Billboard type No. 1
  11:22am
oh yea:

searched for Tico title translation...literal means bird in cornmeal or actual meaning crazy mess.
  11:28am
oh yea:

hope the gorilla is drummer
  11:28am
Bob:

"I Enjoy Being a Boy" was one of my favorite songs when I was little, and I can still draw Bingo. Whenever some website claims to have a huge collection of music, it's always the first thing I search for. Most fail.
  11:33am
BigJay:

Sea Fresh restaurant , Ojai, California
  11:35am
Elias:

Michael, I would suggest buying a hotel on Baltic Avenue. Then you can have the staff prepare any meal you want. I believe the going rate is 40 dollars or so, but first you have to buy four houses.
  11:37am
paul:

If Trump's place is still in Atlantic City, they had a pretty decent restaurant as I recall.
  11:40am
paul:

Just checked...trump's taj mahal has 4 or 5 restaurants.
  11:42am
Edzo:

Great solo Richard Lloyd solo.
  11:47am
paul:

Despite your disdain for the Slugs, you do play some great cover versions, Mr. Shelley.
  11:56am
Bad Ronald:

Take California Man for example, yeah!!!
  12:02pm
paul:

This has got to me on Plantation Records.
  12:16pm
Nordstrom:

Okay... no dice on finding any info on Cerro Verde (besides the open-pit copper and molybdenum mining complex, a restaurant, and an album titled "Cerro Verde")... please to perhaps point me in a direction?

some guy:

Astronauts! Best Colorado surf band ever. Until maybe Voodoo Stingray: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nLCutDmfnw
  12:48pm
ken in denver:

A friend in Cincinnati said Wreckless Eric, a.k.a. Mr. Amy Rigby. told him they didn't even make enough to buy new guitar strings from their gig there a few months ago. The glamorous life of the indie rock star...
  12:49pm
Zev:

Thanks!! BTW there's something about the production or maybe the arrangement on "Him Or Me" that's long made it my fave PR&tRs tune, one day maybe someone can tell me exactly what it is.
  12:50pm
greejeeker:

Ha! Scott has no heat. Bonus. Also, we ALL like the interview free show Mike
  12:53pm
paul:

Didn't W. Eric earn some cash from having Whole Wide World in a movie? It think it was Stranger than Fiction.
  12:57pm
ken in denver:

That would be nice.
  4:32pm
Mark Dillman:

Thank you for playing anything, anytime by Del Shannon, especially any one of the number of great songs he did beyond his half-dozen hit singles. "Led Along" is a fine tune.
