Meghan:

  6:08am
Meghan:

Chuck:

As long as you got the files. Hum, a surprise? Can't wait!
  6:10am
Dave B:

  6:12am
Dave B:

  6:12am
Meghan:

Well Dave, we really only have rain here... so far. Let's hope it stays that way!
  6:12am
Chuck:

Morning Dave!
  6:13am
Chuck:

Bart Simpson would call our current weather "Craptastic".. hehe...
  6:15am
Dave B:

  6:20am
Dave B:

Chuck - did the J-nuggets issue get sorted?
  6:22am
Chuck:

Sure did! And it's fantastic! The Nippon collection is awesome as well. Thanks!
  6:24am
Chuck:

My back hurts already just thinking about shoveling... It isn't really doing anything at the moment...
  6:24am
Dave B:

Cool. I've got a few more collections going up this weekend. Some are requests...
  6:27am
Chuck:

I'll be looking through my collection, currently 84K songs strong, to see what else I may have of interest for you.
  6:30am
Meghan:

I got some stuff to throw up there.... Just haven't had any time yet.... I still have yet to download all the other stuff!
  6:33am
Chuck:

Ah, Nick Cave. Now there's something new for UWTP... Ha!

Just teasing! This is a really good song actually...
  6:37am
Dave B:

  6:43am
Chuck:

Don't think this one is the surprise you mentioned, Meg... I knew you'd play this one!
  6:45am
Meghan:

hehe... nope. I couldn't do the other Galaxie song cause it was 7 minutes long.... no room!
  6:49am
Chuck:

CT, Nice! Liz's voice has always amazed me...
  6:49am
Dave B:

something about the shimmering guitar sound of Cocteau Twins that reminds me of snow...
  6:52am
Chuck:

Just looked at the radar picture at the Weather Channel... Yeah, it's gonna get ugly....
  6:54am
Dave B:

I think that Mr. G should be paid commission based on accuracy. Either that, or they should give him an office with a window
  6:55am
Dave B:

Monty Pythons "The Money Song" - that is all
  6:58am
Meghan:

haha... nice Dave. Mr G SHOULD be! All weather people should be in fact!
  6:58am
Chuck:

"I've Got Money" - James Brown...
  6:59am
Robert:

No snow here in Hong Kong.

But any Townes Van Zandt on the list?
  7:00am
Dave B:

Here's the python skit... I forget what album this was on:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sor9GzivGbk

"There is nothing quite as wonderful as money!"
  7:00am
Meghan:

Hmmmm No Townes Van Zandt, but what song were you thinking?
  7:02am
Chuck:

Just discovered I've got 200 money songs in the collection... I'll bag them up for ya...
  7:03am
Robert:

Snowin' on Raton
  7:04am

Chuck:

  7:12am
Joshua K:

I haven't been hearing the bed music. Is that just me?
  7:13am
Robert:

It's a keeper. Emmylou has a nice version if you don't like Townes voice.
  7:15am
Dave B:

@Jeff - http://www.instantrimshot.com
  7:17am
Parq:

Yay, I'm in time for the cheese set!
  7:21am
Dave B:

Mr G - you may continue to work, and your life has been spared. Rain just started flipping to snow here in Manhattan. A nice "wintry" mix
  7:23am
Chuck:

Yup, it just switched over up here, Dave...Coming down at a pretty good clip too... *sigh*
  7:24am
Joshua K:

Im probably gonna have to work from home my next shift.
  7:26am
Meghan:

Perfect day to stay inside, watch movies and work on art....
  7:27am
kath:

hey, made it -sorta!
  7:27am
Chuck:

Yeah, like chasing a resin casting... No movie though...
  7:28am
Dave B:

Seriously. I'm probably going to be the only schmuck at work who actually goes to the office.

Greets Kath!
  7:28am
Meghan:

yay Kath! Glad you made it!
  7:28am
Parq:

Oh nice, I was hoping you'd play that song from White Christmas, and you did.
  7:33am
kath:

Great Meghan! I actually liked that Merv version better than Liza's. Hers was live and kinda weird, from the Live at Carnegie Hall record. I think a studio version of hers would be good tho, but I do not know if one exsists. pretty passionate little tune there.
  7:35am
kath:

Report from eastern LI in Bellport is wet but nto raining at the moment. We should remain somewhat spared, yay! Off to dentist for a nasty toothache. Catch the archives later. Safe and fun day to all.
  7:37am
Meghan:

ohhhh fun... lol. Glad you dropped by and heard one of your requests!
  7:38am
Parq:

Hey, don't forget Vera-Ellen and Rosemary Clooney on that Irving Berlin song!
  7:38am
Chuck:

Cool! Love XTC and their alter egos Dukes of the Stratosphere..
  7:47am
Andy in Berlin:

Are we getting Gene Autry singing Frosty The Snowman or are we cheesed out for the day?
Enjoying the show as much as I can, seeing as how the sun is streaming through the window and everything is melted except for the dirt.
  7:49am
Andy in Berlin:

Money theme? Then you HAVE to play Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks playing "Where's The Money (where's the dough)"
  7:50am
t hanley:

nice!
  7:51am
Dave B:

can't go wrong with beefheart
  7:52am
Andy in Berlin:

Also "The Money Song" from Cabaret.
  7:52am
Meghan:

oh nice request Andy! I gave up on the Frosty one... too Christmas-y
  7:52am
lexray:

Zappa!
  7:52am
Robert:

  7:53am
t hanley:

  7:54am
t hanley:

  7:54am
Andy in Berlin:

I agree about Christmas being too far in the past, but still - Gene Autry...
  7:54am
Rick:

Loved the snow set...Played well while looking at the snow from my office window.
  7:54am
Meghan:

Morning T and Lexray!
  7:54am
PKNY:

"By-Tor and the Snow Dog " might be the best song title ever.
  7:54am
Chuck:

This is the surprise! And you said you'd never play Rush! Never say never...
  7:55am
kirsten:

hi enjoying your show...what about fonda 500's autumn-winter collection ??
lots of snow songs...
  7:56am
Meghan:

Hello there Rick! It's a snow DAY! Keep on listening, more snow songs coming!

Ha! Knew this would make you happy chuck! It was a request from Kath, so I figured it had to be played if a GIRL asked for it!
  7:57am
Meghan:

Morning Kirsten! Don't know that one.... instrumental?
  7:57am
Dave B:

Take Off, hosers...
  7:58am
Chuck:

Yeah, I knew about Kath's request from your UWTP facebook page.. Jeff could have twisted your arm too since he's there... Ha!
  7:59am
Meghan:

he's happy about it... but had nothing to do with it. He was equally surprised! I figure I could surprise you all once in a while.
  7:59am
Dave B:

OK. I gotta scoot a little early today

Catch ya next week!
  8:00am
Meghan:

  8:12am
Chuck:

Now you're just being MEAN!
  8:16am
Chuck:

Pete Clark at VKR once said that Rush is one of those bands that you either love or hate... I think that's the truer case, regardless of gender...
  8:18am
Meghan:

Will do Kirsten! Always like to check out stuff new to me! True Chuck, so true.....
  8:25am
Jeff P:

SNOWMAGGEDON 3-D!
  8:26am
Meghan:

Hey there Jeff! We were just talking about you and your RUSH theory!
  8:26am
Jeff P:

Refresh my memory....
  8:27am
Meghan:

That chicks don't do Rush....
  8:28am
Jeff P:

i was just scrolling through the comments. I stand by my assessment.
  8:28am
Jeff P:

The girl who requested it only knew the song because of her boyfriend.
  8:31am
Chuck:

Incorrect, Jeff. I know at least 3 women that love Rush. Whereas, my friend Kevin HATES them. Therefore, your theory doesn't carry...
  8:32am
Jeff P:

They're the exceptions that prove the rule.
  8:33am
Jeff P:

In the dictionary next to the term "sausage fest" there's a picture of the audience at a Rush concert.
  8:33am
kath:

Hola, back for a bit. I can't believe you actually played Rush!! Or Mush as DB says. You're just makin my day Meghan!!!
  8:33am
Geddy Lee:

I was actually born a woman, an ugly woman.
  8:35am
Meghan:

omg.... i am laughing so hard over here....
  8:35am
kath:

Jeff, actually I am a Rush fan since 1979. I even got my mom to like them. I got all my boyfriends to like them too. this is getting fun! Actually my husband is also a Rush fan, so convenient!
  8:35am
Neil Peart:

Yes, you are an ugly woman.
  8:35am
Merv:

Hey wait, this is Claire De Lune, not snowflakes are dancing!
  8:36am
Meghan:

gah is it?! I kept finding this same song for this title..... grrrr... I tried! Well, it's snowflakey....
  8:37am
Alex Liifeson:

Neil, I can't believe you called kath ugly!
  8:37am
kath:

oh and so cool you played that Sisters tune, goth here too. Can't waitto check the full archive later!
  8:37am
Geddy Lee:

Easy there professor or I'll sick Ayn Rand's lawyers on your narrow ass.
  8:37am
Geddy Lee:

Yeah, you don't even know her, eh?
  8:37am
Meghan:

See!!! This is why I don't play Rush! You always get them so upset!
  8:39am
Chuck:

More like infantile, Meg...
  8:39am
Jeff P:

OK, in a street fight who would win, Rush or Triumph?
  8:40am
Chuck:

Depends on who's armed with what...
  8:42am
Robert:

Neil would have all of those sticks and mallets. Rush.

And I do know a lot of Rush women. . .
  8:42am
Jeff P:

Broken bottles of Molson or Labatt's Blue and rusty knives only....
  8:44am
Chuck:

What no Moosehead? Sounds like a weapon right there...
  8:44am
Meghan:

*hangs her head in shame* Look what I started.....
  8:45am
Meghan:

Jeff P- Jeff F wanted to tell you that when he gets home he's going to watch Hot Dog the Movie and drink Molson XXX
  8:46am
Chuck:

Can't blame the rest of us, Meg... Jeff P is beating the topic to death!
  8:47am
Jeff P:

There's no dead horse on the ground that I won't beat further into submission, Chuck.
  8:48am
Jeff P:

Tell Jeff F he'd better make sure to put on a pastel Polo shirt and snap the collar up while he's watching
  8:48am
Chuck:

I think it's okay to stop now, Jeff. It's a pulpy mass rapidly being covered with snow...
  8:49am
Rick:

Great show! Too bad it's almost over.
  8:49am
Meghan:

He wants to know how you knew what he was wearing?!
  8:50am
Meghan:

Thanks Rick... I feel that way every week...time flies by so damn fast!
  8:50am
Jeff P:
