That was cool! (Not all your interviews can be with raving maniacs.)
  11:34am
Peter:

Wow. Glad I'm learning about Green, now! Wish I did when I was in high school. Would have jump-started things a bunch for me. (I thought cool kids listened to WPLJ). This is like finding out about WLIW or the Uncle Floyd Show.
  11:35am
Kat:

I was a big Green fan at the end of the 80s and used to go see them in the small clubs you just talked about... I never thought they got the love they should have in Chicago at the time. So happy to hear these songs on WFMU after all these years! Looking forward to the interview!

some post-marathon adulation: Thanks for the musicology...this is what makes you exceptional. Commercial radio can suck it.
  12:09pm
Kat:

thank you so much Mr. Shelley!

Green's "White Soul" album (originally released on Megadisc) has some unheard classics too... "She's Heaven" always made me swoon.
  12:31pm
TCJimmy:

According to Mono Man it is Lyres not "The" Lyres
  12:45pm
Mark from New Paltz:

Wow, first time I've heard "Scratchy" on the radio since WMCA in NYC used to play it back in 1965(or maybe 1966?)!
  12:46pm
SmokinJ:

Blondie's best..
  12:47pm
