Listener comments!

  3:08am
Sue:

Hi, Joe! Good morning! Long time no see
  3:10am
Joe:

Hey, Sue! How are you this evening/morning/whatever it is?
  3:12am
Sue:

Doin alright. Just finished writing a paper. My eyes hurt. But glad to be able to catch your show! How's things by you?
  3:14am
Joe:

Oh, I'm OK! Sorry you were up so late writing, but glad you could be here!
  3:15am
Sue:

Thanks dude, I always dig your tunes
  3:18am
Joe:

Aw, thanks. I thought maybe I was making your ears hurt as well as your eyes.
  3:20am
Sue:

Oh please! I thought I was ready for bed but I think I got a second wind now. Party time! :)
  3:22am
Joe:

Ha ha! I am definitely playing the par-tay tunes tonight!
  3:24am
Sue:

Yeah, man. Rock on!
  3:26am
Joe:

This is fun on headphones, if you got 'em.
  3:28am
Sue:

Oh, nice, thanks for the tip!
  3:36am
Joe:

Anything I can do to enhance your listening experience!
  3:38am
Sue:

Just keep doing what you're doing, man. I'm anxious for Single File, haven't caught that in awhile. Woo hoo!
  3:45am
Joe:

Tonight I promise to play at least one record that will cause you to regret staying awake. See if you can guess which one!
  3:46am
Sue:

That's an interesting game, but you can't scare me off that easy! :)
  3:49am
Joe:

Hee hee...!
  3:55am
Sue:

oh my god, Dolly!! man, i'm not gonna get any sleep tonight
  4:21am
brock:

hey Joe, can't sleep but that last track made it kind of worth it
  4:22am
Joe:

Sorry about that, Brock. Glad you dug the post-punk Fowley there.
  4:24am
brock:

does staying up all night spinning records throw off your sleep pattern?
  4:26am
Joe:

Not as much as you think, but I've got this regimen that sort of kills my weekends. I go to bed at around 8:30, get up at 1:30, and then after the show I usually crash for another hour. I'm usually good by Monday, more or less!
  5:46am
fred:

Branca remains instantly identifiable, I'm not sure it's such a good thing, but I'm enjoying it. I'd love to see him live again -- I did once, about 15 years ago, and it was a blast. Not holding my breath though, he's not exactly a household name here in France.
  5:49am
Joe:

You never know...he seems revitalized by the new record, his own label. His ensemble is so fresh-faced, too! I heard reports about his show in NY being excellent, tho' I missed it myself. Hi, Fred!
  5:58am
fred:

A stop here could be a nice opportunity for a Chatham/Branca reunion too. Rhys usually does quite different stuff now -- trumpet trumps guitar these days -- but that's part of the appeal.

Hi Joe, nice to chat about interesting things for a change
