Once sat next to a Silver Apple on a cross-country train..
  3:09am
jj.:

right on! i guess once you've gone beyond the stars, trains are the only way to go...
  3:14am
steg.:

yeah, actually i was wrong, it was the apples in stereo. kind of embarassing mistake but you prompted the correction! thx 4 playin i feel tractor btw..
  3:21am
jj.:

ha! fortuitous! still must've been fun...
  3:25am
steg.:

sure. and who knew playin a dinosaur would prompt such amnesia.. train was good + old. the apples in stereo people seem nice. talked clement greenberg & yes, there was a train with a glass ceiling, so there were stars besides the.. stars.
  3:47am
steg.:

went to church today-- er, to see morton feldman's string quartet #2 performed. Sweetest brainbuster fathomable, seriously.
  3:55am
jj.:

oh, yeah! almost went to that. ended up at the ballpark instead. sounded amazing.
  4:04am
steg.:

mesmerizing. the whole room was like on a string, suspended. the music was like this subtly shifting form of human breath. apparently goethe once described chamber music as "4 rational people conversing". this was something completely different, definitely not describing.. rational people, or.. conversing as we know it. !!
