A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

If you do it well, you could do a one man show and take it on the road... forever, like Hal Holbrook doing Twain.

I've been working on a professional development proposal in PPT. The poor choice of doing this in PPT is slowly but surely killing me. Sadly, I'm pretty sure any other format would be rejected with a "just give it to me as bullets in a powerpoint" response.

The only saving grace, mentioned in the article, is that you can save time being a little sloppy with prose. But if the deck is going to get passed around (and mine will), you still have to be careful with word choice.
Haven't seen Prezi. Does it export (e.g. to .swf, like Keynote?)

Also, I've been reading stuff about this for about 2 years. I am now convinced the NYT will cover any trend 24 months after it's started. just like clockwork.

Brian, not necessarily diminutive, but it also doesn't look like someone sawed a medicine ball in half and placed it on their chests.

A protest rally is scheduled at the NJ State House on May 5th, to protest the library funding cuts. I'm sorry, I don't have the particular details, so, all you old hippies, (and younger ones too), c'mon down! No Tea Baggers please!
